Inspired by Nature
My journey with clay began over 15 years ago and have been addicted to it since.
The soft smooth quality of clay, the response to my touch. Clay is pliable and can be moulded in my hands and I desire to create comfortable and beautiful pots that enhance the pleasure of food and remind us of our earthly surroundings..I am inspired by nature and its colors.
My pieces are mostly thrown on the wheel, which is the most satisfying and rewarding process for me. I can sit at a wheel and throw for hours but do dabble in some hand building as well.
I like experimenting with different clay bodies though porcelain is my favorite. I fire at mid range - cone 6 which is about 2200 degrees F in my electric kiln. I love color and am always mixing up new glazes to test on the different clay bodies I experiment with.

Every piece is made by me, well thought of and designed. I am always challenging myself and looking for ways to push the limits.
I strive to engage the hand and enliven the spirit, to create joyous objects with meaning that weave into our daily lives.
